Unable to start integration builder: configuration

Hi,

When I try and start the integration builder: configuration I get the error message :-

The requested client is unknown!

Has anyone come across this problem - I have checked OSS and this forum and can find no mention of this problem.

ok, this is very strange error. I give you the next (10% success) doubtful tip: Delete all temporary internet files and try again...

We restarted XI and we can now login to the integration builder. Thanks ever so much for your suggestion!

Hi Ian,

may be there is a missing entry in your hosts file like

10.180.191.11 netweaverServer.intranet.com

You ll find usually (XP) under C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

Hi Udo,

The integration builder was working OK - we have had some problems with the J2EE server which has now been resolved. I can also run the Integration builder: design with no problems.
