Decimal Places in Meter Read Consumption

Hi ,

We would like to reduce the number of decimal places in consumption in Meter Reading to 2. I have changed the config in CUNI for the measurement unit.

Can anyone suggest how this can be done?

Hi Matt,

can you elaborate business scenario why you want to restrict consumption values to 2 decimal places.

because if your requirement is related to bill calculation then you can do this by changing the "consumption operand" (category - QUANT) rounding category which holds register consumption. using EA51 or EA50 TCODE.

Hi Manoj,

Apologies for the delay. The business want the display to be 2 decimals to meet the audit requirements. They have intimated that this was achieved in another system already which is in use.

Please Check you Numbering Group in EG05 transaction, Set the field STANZNAC "decimals" in "2".

Hi Juan,

I have the configuration but unfortunately it doesn't work. It is causing the decimal places as '2' for meter reading but not for consumption.
