Two commas instead of one appearing in CSV file generated in SAP WEBI

I am trying to export a report to CSV format in SAP WEBI, using double quotes as the text qualifier and comma as the field delimiter. The problem is that, sometimes, two commas instead of one appear in the generated file after a column. I have verified the DataProvider and the same objects that are shown in the report are being used - neither more nor less. Has someone ever had this issue and have found a solution? I have already tried changing both the delimiter and the text qualifier, but the problem persists.
