SAP hana installation error

Hi,

I am trying to install SAP hana 2.0 on SUSE Linux 15. The server is hosted on AWS. I have done all the pre-requisites. But the hana database installation is failing. Kindly find the attached log for more details. Need help on solving the error.

    Hi Sreeraj,

    As per the log it is showing that below file is missing.

    did you check this?

    /sbin/insserv: No such file or directory

    Hi Sreeraj,

    Could you please check with your Linux expert as this is nothing to do from HANA side.

    Meanwhile, I will check on this and update you if I found anything.

    Hi Sreeraj,

    The "insserv-compat" package is not installed. Please install the recommended pattern list as mentioned in the note 2578899.The "insserv-compat" package is part of the "sap_server" pattern.

    Please follow the note 2578899 at the end.
