Incorrect metadata file generation for Bex as Odata. (Attribute sap:label redefined)

Hello experts!

We are faced with the following problem:

Web service metadata, which is generated by "Bex as Odata" property, is generated incorrectly with dublicate attribute "sap:label":

Due to the fact that this service is auto-generated, we do not understand how it is possible to influence the generation of Metadata file.

Has anyone encountered a similar situation? Would be grateful for any help.

Hi Stanislav,

this metadata doesn't look like generated for BexQuery. Typical annotations sap:aggregation-role=.... is missing.

Comment: OData service for an Bex Query = ODataQuery

Hi Stanislav,

Did you find any solution for the issue that you had posted?

We are into a similar situation with the error in metadata after the System upgrade. The Queries were returing results before the upgrade, but after the upgrade we get similar error. Appreciate if you could share any note number/solution that you may have found.

I have a similar problem with RAP in eclipse. After generated the service. First time the annotations are correct in the fiori preview within eclipse, but when i do changes in the label annotations, some labels are dublicated. and changes are ingored. Where i can find the option "byOData" in the answer above, so i can check this options?

Can you please share which version and SP Level of SAP NetWeaver is used here?

And why is your question called "(Attribute sap:label redefined)" ?

Have you tried to create a version via redefintion? (here it might be an option to set the value for sap:label via ABAP Code in the MPC_EXT class as a workaround)

we are faced this problem right after BW/4HANA 7.5 sp12 (DW4CORE 0012 BW/4HANA Core Component) update.

We use this particular option:

My question is called like that, because browser return this error while trying to parse generated metadata.

The point is that we have problem with metadata structure, not those values. Value sap:label is correct, but whole this namespace is dublicated twice in one xml tag which leads to an error.

P.S.: We have productive landscape which have version DW4CORE 0010, and there is no such error.
