Hi Expert

could you tell me please why stock have negative in case of Consume stock against production order.

I have confirmed a production order where a component stock is less than required quantity in a batch. and after confirmation i checked that component stock is in negative quantity in same batch. I have checked in OMJ1 setting are in line, there is no tick in plant and storage location. In material master plant data/storage 2 there is no tick mark in negative stock field.

Please suggest me how i remove these problem.

    Hi,

Negative stocks are required if, for example, goods issues are entered before the corresponding goods receipts for organizational reasons and the material is already physically located in the warehouse.

If the first movement of a material is an outward movement, in Customizing for Inventory Management, you can activate the automatic creation of storage location data at goods issue for plant and movement type.

Once the goods receipts have been posted, the book inventory balance must correspond to the physical stock, that is, the book inventory balance must no longer be negative.

I would suggest to run the report RM07KO01 to check stock consistency.
