Stock transfer (mov.351) from unrestricted to order stock

Hi all.

We have a STO in order to move a material from unrestricted stock of plant A to order stock (make-to-order) of plant B. When we try to post with MB1B with movement 351, we get the error

The specified object (EKPO-SOBKZ=E; EKPO-UMSOK=_; EKPO-KZBWS<>_
EKPO-KZVBR<>E (Note 305582)) is not supported.

even if we implemented the note.

Our aim is to post the stock in transit using 351.

Is it possible? I could not find a solution/answer in the community.

Thanks,

Hi,

It is possible to transfer materials between plants in one step or two-step process. Please refer to following forums for more info.

I saw the link you shared, but I could not solve.

Our situation is STO from plant1 to plant2 where in plant1 the SKU is a make-to-stock and in plant2 the SKU is a make-to-order.

The flow works fine in case of MTS => MTS or MTO => MTO.

Is it possible? Do we have wrong setup?

Thanks

In general scenario MTS->MTS or MTO->MTO STO process designed.

If you want to transfer from MTS->MTO you need to disconnect the receiving location sales order assignment, receive the material as MTS and then assign the stock to the specific sales order. You have to adjust the sales and distribution configuration (requirement type, class or enhancement) to allow goods movement without sales order assignment.
