SAP Cloud Foundry trial and/ or Cloud platform Phone Number Verification

Taking a class through and had to setup an account on When I tried to start my free trial there was a prompt to verify my phone number and that I would receive a code via text. When I did not receive the code I selected the option for a new code in which I was informed that I exceeded 5 attempts and would need to contact my system administrator. We are not currently a customer of SAP so the system administrator would not be able to assist me. I have contacted numerous SAP phone numbers asking how to resolve this and was directed to state the issue here in the forum. One representative said this was a glitch but that does not assist me in gaining access so that I could complete the SAP course.

  • If it offers any consolation: it's the same here today, no code coming in, also nothing on the page informing my phone number isn't valid (it is valid!). Just nothing. Which is kind of annoying, even if it's 'only' about a trial (or rather developer) account.

    Really sorry to hear you were having issues setting up a trial account. If you still have not received the code, please send an email to stating your account ID, e-mail address and phone number. They will be able to help you get set up.
