Walk'sup Material - Material issued directly from Warehouse without Reservation

Hello All,

I have query on warehouse material issuance. Materials are required for maintenance, the first step create the work order for the equipment with required materials and then reservation will be created. Some of the moment while do the maintenance, will collect the material from warehouse directly and use for maintenance. For these kind of case, in general practice are they entering in SAP or tracking in SAP system? If entering in SAP how can we get the report for these kind of material list.

Thanks for the link. so what i understand from this link. For bulk goods issue (consumption) in SAP, what is the movement type for unplanned goods issue? End of the year, how we can track how much for unplanned goods issue and how we can correlate with work order and goods?

Both planned and unplanned materials can be issued directly to the work order. Within an order, follow menu path Extras --> Documents for Order --> Goods Movements to see a list of all material issues. To see the goods issues for multiple orders, use a list display transaction like IW13 or MB51.

For Goods issue, we can get from MB51 (against wo Mvt type: 261) for reservation. If there is no reservation but goods are issuing from warehouse, how we track in system? Is there any movement type for unplanned material issue?

The movement type is the same (261) for planned and unplanned goods issues. The only difference is that the unplanned issue is done directly to the work order rather than to a reservation.

HI,

You can use those Materials as Tools In Work Order and that will create reservation for those Materials, so after that in the standard reporting and information system you can find the list of Material Tools Used in Work Order.

My is question is like, unplanned goods issue how we are tracking in system? is there any movement type for that? what is the standard reporting t-codes?
