Hi expert,
My clients have some requirement, that make those auxiliary materials to display at cost estimate or actual cost components.(the ratio of auxiliary materials in product cost is nearly 30%,like paints or machine blades..)
But, these auxiliary materials are not included in BOM, they're now all in manufacture cost(mvt 201 to cost center) with one activity type split.
Could anyone give me some advice? thanks.
Hi,
You can setup auxiliary materials consumption to manufacturing orders based on the requirement in the following options. Auxiliary materials are not part of BOM then do not have any visibility at the order level.
1. You can add these components (material code or text item) to BOM and mark do not cost and perform the same activity with 201 movement type to cost center.
2. You can add these components to BOM and perform a standard cost estimate and include those costs to manufacturing orders.
Best Regards,
