Thing mapping of multiple capabilities in one SensorType

I have a SensorType with multiple capabilities on the IoT Service Cockpit.

To be able to map it to a Thing, I've recreated the SensorType as a Property Set containing all the Capabilities as properties. But when I want to map it, I need to select a SensorType with a Capability(Set).

For the first property, it works fine

But when I want to map the second property, the Capability dropdown is locked and I can't choose another capability to map.

As I see it, it looks like the OData Thing Model Mapping only supports a Capability set (SensorType containing a single Capability containing multiple values), and not multiple capabilities in one SensorType.

Anyone had the same problem or am I doing something wrong?

Best Regards,

Wout

Yes, this is a current restriction. See also https://help.sap.com/viewer/080fabc6cae6423fb45fca7752adb61e/1903a/en-US/2a1e7b5202924322a474f494aa2... for the detailed explanation.

I think you can allocate multiple sensor types to one thing type though.

Do you have a use case, where this restriction is a problem?

Yes indeed, you can allocate multiple sensorTypes to one thing. But this isn't my case.

I need to allocate multiple capababilities to one Property set.

In my case, I have a SensorType with multiple capabilities, and I can't map this on the Thing mapper
