SAP traceability system for FG

Hi,

I would like to trace FG product backward till receiving of raw material (GRN). Traceability should include batch details of raw material & its consumption as well.Is there a way to trace till RM with respect to FG batch details or production order number in QM module ??

Hello

MB56 is the standard solution for batch traceability. In some cases, when you have production orders with multiple goods issues and receipts, you need to use a feature called WIB batches to link a specific component to the material produced.

Additionally, SAP offers a separated product called Global Batch Traceability, which provides avanced features and enables traceability between different systems and a graphical overview of the batch genalogy.

Hello,

In MB56 or BMBC you can do the batch tractability. Please try the Batch Information Cockpit transaction BMBC or MB56. It contains a quite wide where-used information for the batch.

Function modules are CHVW_EXPLODE_ALL and CHVW_BATCH_WHERE_USED_LIST.
