trial balance is mismatch for fixed asset

Hello experts,

i have client trial balance about some amount amount for fixed assets , but our sap depreciation run amount lesser than the client amount. in sap fixed assets we can use WDV(write down value ) for a depreciation run . why the amount was less , i need clarification from you and also in sap last depreciation run was 31/07/2017 after that there will be no depreciation run . now i want continue the last run for everey month what i can do

You need to provide more information like when was it acquired, screenshots of the depreciation screen, useful years etc.. to understand the issue.

when we need a inbetween depreciation run from the curren year , you just unblock the posting period which one you want. after that depreciation run was happened

Please check there is no JE in depreciation account and post depreciation by month and compare your trial baloance by month end date may be you are generating trial balance during the month while depreciation posted on last date of month

Good day, I hopefully i manage to decode your message.

It is in my view that differences in depreciation values can arise from differences in start dates for dpn or the method you are applying is rounding values to whole number( a tick in depreciation type set up named round year book value). in addition ensure that you managed to run the depreciation run for all periods from capitalisation for respective asset classes far from these B1 settings the issue may now be on the client way of running depreciation.
