Duplicate Transport request are generating

Hi Techs,

I am new to SAP BASIS.

i am facing a strange issue, after system refresh is done in my learning system duplicate tr are generating.

In cofile and logs of tr i can see, another developer log of same tr.

Can anone help me!!!

Hi Venaktesh,

the SAP system stores the highest transport request number used so far in the table E070L (on a per SID basis). When you now use a system copy to refresh your development system you reset this number (at least) to the highest transport request number which has been imported into the source system of the copy. Normally this number is lower than the one in the original development system (all transports not yet released or imported are missing).

Then the development system starts giving new transport requests numbers starting from that point. This can lead to duplicate transport numbers with a lot of potential issues...

To avoid this problem you would have to adjust the value of TRKORR in table E070L for the SID of your development system to the value it had before the system copy.
