Record account assignment not visible for Balance sheet gl HANA 1809

Hello All,

As mentioned in subject, 'Record account assignment' is not visible for Balance sheet GL. Attached screenshot for Account Type / Account group selected for GL.

I remember seeing 'Record account assignment' option in 'Control Data' tab earlier, but now the option is not displayed.

Below pre-requisites are done:

• Account is created as G/L account type – Balance Sheet account
• Account Group: Material management Accounts
• Accounts have been set up in Material management account assignment (OBYC)

When the GL Account is maintained in the configuration table T030 (BSX) and T095 (APC), then this field "Record Account Assignment" would appear by default in the GL master. This field is not controlled through field status group.

After maintaining required G/L in OBYC, checkbox is enabled.

Hi Check AO90 Config, Record account assignment indicator is only will be active if the same has been used in AO90.

It is only used for Recon account for fixed asset or material only

Indicator defining whether account assignment objects will be assigned to a line item posted to this G/L account or not.

Thanks for responding.

In OB13 - I only see the Chart of Account. However, I have checked the 'Field Status group' settings in OBC4, and the 'Record account assignment' field is not available. I have checked the FSG settings for G001 (General Text) as well, but this field is not available.

Any other pointers Please?.

Though I didn't quite understand, but FS00 Fields are controlled by Account Groups. Please check the respective field status in OB13 against that account group and enable it if it not enabled.
