TOMCAT 8 NOT STARTING

Hi All,

I'm working on SAP BO 4.2 , tomcat is not starting and is not throwing any error.

It starts and stop. any solution out there

Have you made any changes to the environment, or did this just start happening randomly during the day on a production box?

Did you review stderr.log -- will be located in the path that you have specified in the Tomcat java options parm -Duser.home

When this has happened to me, it's one of a few possible things:

• JMX jar file was not added back to the JAR directory after an upgrade
• Service account set to run Tomcat was reset to default Local System after an upgrade
• user/pw file wasn't recreated/doesn't have correct permissions on the file that is used by jmx/the platform support tool
• Cert for SSL is not located in the correct path as indicated in server.xml
