Preventive Maintenance Work Orders

I have 6 plants using SAP PM on ECC6.0 (same instance). Preventive orders for 3 plants are always released with Basic finish date same as basic start date.

The other 3 plants do not have this issue. Maintenance Plans appear to be created in the same manner in all 6 plants. Any ideas on where to check for differences that could be causing this. Config for all 6 plants seems to be the same but I am obviously missing something.

Hi Steven.

You don't say whether these plans are strategy-based or not, but if they are, check the packages you used with IP11 and see if there are values maintained for the Lead Float and Follow-up Float. Those will affect the start and finish dates of the work orders.

Please check transaction: OPU7 for Preventive order type in all maintenance plant.

That wasn't it. Order type for preventive orders is configured the same in all 6 plants.
