RUNLOGIC_PH parallelization parameters set up

Hi Gurus,

We have successfully implemented RUNLOGIC_PH a few months back and currently we are using it to triggered 5 script logic files in 5 different model from one single script out of the main Summary model.

It works as expected, however, we have not set it up to run in parallel yet mainly because we are not certain of the correct SPRO parameters (GLOBAL, ENVIRONMENT, MODEL) that need to be enable in BW.

We are aware of the CHANGED" paramter within the BADI call and also the "PARALLEL_EXECUTION(ON)" inside the Advance script configuration of the DM package that executes or main script but we are not to clear on what and how to go about the BW side.

Has anyone successfully implemented these and if so could you provide any guidance onto how to proceed?

I've read the How to Implement the RUNLOGIC_PH document but it only talks about setting up the "GLOBAL" parameter "PARALLEL_SERVER_GROUP" based on your processing needs but it is not very specific about the others.

Please see out current SPRO set up in the attached scree shots. Many thanks in advance.

Sorry, but ""PARALLEL_EXECUTION(ON)" inside the Advance script configuration of the DM package that executes or main script" has no relation to RUNLOGIC_PH (to my mind).

Second - I don't see PARALLELSCRIPT parameter created and configured!

Please, read again documentation for RUNLOGIC_PH:

Hi Vadim,

Yes, you're right it has not been added or created yet. We can easily add it in the GLOBAL parameters, then my question would be; is that all we need, plus the "CHANGED" parameter of course?

If you completed all steps in "4.2 Parallel Degree Setup" - then it's all you need!

P.S.

In Global you have to set: PARALLEL_SERVER_GROUP (from RZ12)

In Environment: PARALLELSCRIPT
