Error while starting HANA db : "Cannot open file ""/datavolume_0000.dat"

Hi All,

HANA db is getting error as below when starting.(HANA 1.0 - 122.05)

No problems I have checked permissions

FAIL: process hdbindexserver HDB Indexserver not running

DB also gets the error when I uninstall and install a new DB. Could there be a problem with the server?

I check this issue internal and this should be not a HANA issue. From the error you provide, it looks like there is a permission issue with HANA persistence files in the filesystem (maybe the owner changed - or was the file deleted...). Please check on OS level to fix this issue.
