Hi,
BO version: 4.1 SP 10
We have few users who are using Named users in CMC. We want to convert them to concurrent users.
Are there any implications in doing so oor we can go ahead and simple change it in CMC.
Thanks!
It's a simple change, the only requirement is that you must have a license key that supports concurrent logons.

Hello,
At the moment we have 300 users assigned as Named users.
Now, we have req to keep 48 users as concurrent only and convert rest of these as Concurrent users.
What steps should be followed to perform this
1. Generate a Concurrent license Key in the system.
2. Do we have to manually change the user type to convert the named user to concurrent type
As we will perfrom this in Prod, will end users be affecetd while doing this acitvitiy
Well, it's a little more than just generating a key -- your contract with SAP must include concurrent licenses in order for you to generate a key.
You will need to change them all manually unless you create a program to do it. But changing ~250 shouldn't make more than an hour or so.
There should no be impact on users, but I have not actually done that myself.
Thanks Joe for your feedback!
