Ariba Cloud Integration to SAP MDG

Hi Experts,

We have a requirement where we have SAP MDG on S4 HANA 1809 and we want to send master data to ARIBA .

I want to understand the following :

1. Is CI9 extractor available for MDG - S4 HANA ? If yes, then do we need to install this package on our S4 system ?

2. SAP recommends CIG to integrate with ARIBA . How different is this with the above point i.e. CI9 ?

Hi Ajaykumar,

Yes, Master data extract is available in CI-9 should be able to suffice your needs. However, recommended solution will be CIG as CI solutions are in maintenance mode. For more information, you can refer the below links or help documentation.

But, I want to know how CI9 will be different then CIG ? Where can I find more information about CI9 ?

Is CI9 available in S4 HANA as well ?

Hi Mohamed,

Could you please share the steps to integrate Ariba SLP with MDG? I have completed the below steps but unable to replicate the supplier in MDG and S/4

1. Enabled ERP integration in SM Admin

2. Created Project in CIG

3. Enabled BusinessPartnerSuiteBulkReplicaterequest_IN and other 3 webservices in S/4

Once the supplier is registered Ariba system is pushing the supplier record to ERP system via CIG but nothing is replicated. The status is SRT_MONI is Delivered.

Am I missing anything here?

Hi Guys,

i have integrated Ariba and MDG , change requests are getting created for Success records, wherein Change request are not created for failed one, my requirement is to have change request created in SAP MDG for all Vendor data coming in SAP MDG.

I am using Staging option and in BADI Persistence value = 1.

Do please let me know if any one of you have any idea or solution.

Can you share some configuration information regarding creating the change request? We are stuck at this stage (Delivered in SRT_MONI but no CR in any scenario).

CI9 was suppose to use for SAP S4 HANA version less than 1709 , 1709 onward SAP certified only CIG as integration solution.
