Inconsistent IQ09 and MB52

Dear Community,

I am facing an issue in serialized inventory, where the data was uploaded using TType 561 at the time of go live. But during the course of time a transfer was made to the same serial number (equipment #) and then OBD was created for the same serial number.

Now the MB52 shows the specific item is not available but IQ09 shows that it is, and if I try to create a MIGO document for the same serial number the "Deficit in BA" error is given.

Kindly suggest a solution to this.

Hi Fawad,
Better to compare serial numbers in MMBE with IQ09 for better understanding. Also IQ09 contains all serial numbers without having stock as well.

For testing purpose, take one serial number and check the status. If it is 01, ESTO as mentioned by you, then verify Plant/Sloc fields are exists in IE03/IQ09.
If there is no plant/sloc in IE03, then it is a dummy serial number. Finally check in History tab for tracking.
There are so many other status of serial numbers which have been gone from system (like sales order dispatch, consumption, physical Inventory adjustments etc). if we consider these serial number it gives 'Deficit' error.

The Stock Type is set as 01 and the history is also attached.

Hi Fawad,
As per your screenshots, Given material(4000069) of stock located in HQ01, L002 location with serial number(10005662) and Batch(H1L0200013).
So please do the stock transfer with above parameters and if any error, Kindly share the screenshot.

What is the status of the serial number and which movement perfroming in MIGO?

Based on your message stock is not available to post goods movement.

Dear Lingaiah Vanam,

If we check the serail number via ie03 or the stock type is 01 and the status is ESTO, further it doesn't allow any movement type 301, 311, 401
