The recommended option would be to create a New Customer under regular Sold To Account Group.

Hi,

You can change the account group of a customer (XD07).

However, if you have a CPD customer that would not seem appropiate since the CPD account groups different customers (not just the one you desire to "convert").

In my opinion, it would be better to create the customer directly in the correct Account group.
