has anyone implemented the ES EmployeeERPInformation_Out before? SAP provides very limited information on that. Did some intensive search, couldn't find much info.

Seems that you'd need to implement the BADI PAD_SE_EE_ELMNTS_CONV_ASYNC to filter employees.

However my question is: what would trigger the service? if employee data is modified in PA30, would the service be triggered upon SAVE the changes? SAP help says Business Event would be involved, is there any additional ECC configurations need to be done so that the service would be triggered when employee data is changed in PA30?

we have implemented the service on a sandbox system and it is triggered without any further Customizing. I'm also struggeling with the poor information SAP provides for the service. My question would be how we can add additional custom fields to the message. So if you find anything to this question, I would be really interested.

Prerequisite to use the service is to activate the business function HCM_SRV_CI_2 and you'll have to configure SOAP Runtime, too.
