S/4 HANA 1809 and Embedded analytics

Dear All,

I am exploring my knowledge in SAP Fiori and S/4 HANA Embedded Analytics in 1809. As I am going through Fiori Applications in Fiori App library , I am getting confused about the features. It would be really helpful if you can guide me to understand the concept

1. What is Embedded Analytics? Is this all set of analytical applications which are connecting the S/4 HANA system Or is there a specific way to analyze that what is a simple Fiori Analytical applications or this is an Embedded analytics application?

2. In Fiori app Library , the filter for application types are mentioned , I selected one Analytical application and the details were : Application Type Transactional, Analytical (SAP Fiori elements: Overview Page)

So how does an application can be called both Analytical and Transaction ? Does this means its an Analytical application but you can analyze the record and perform transactions as well ?

3. Data coming from S/4 HANA only qualifies to be called as Embedded analytics or the Data coming from B/4 HANA also is called as Embedded analytics. What is the difference ?

Please guide me with your expert opinions but in a simple way 🙂 Thanks a lot in advance and looking forward for your views
