User exit for automatic purchase requisition after production order

Hello,

For some materials, purchase requisition is created automatically when user creates a production order with CO01. I want to process the purchase requisition at this stage with a user exit. I am not sure whether the existing SMOD

MEREQ001 components or BADI ME_PROCESS_REQ_CUST are suitable for this because I need to read the relevant production order from within the user exit and update purch. req. accordingly.

Any suggestions?
