Hi Experts,
I would like to know, how to connect SAP PO 7.5 single stack system with external 3rd party system's Jco and transfer the RFC messages.
It is a synchronous scenario and flow is below.
3rd party (Jco) <-> RFC <-> SAP PO Single stack <-RFC-> SAP S/4 HANA.
Most of the SDN blogs are giving the option of exchanging the IDOCs with 3rd party Jcos by creating the RFC destination in NWA, but there is no clear answer for exchanging the RFC messages.
Kindly provide your inputs on how to connect PO system with external Jcos. Can we use the RFC sender channel to connect. If yes, could you please suggest, how and which system's program ID and gateway server details have to be configured in RFC channel.
Thanks and Regards,
Boopathi
Hi Boopathi!
I don't understand the point of using JCo to connect the PO Java system. Why not to use any of exisitng adapters (SOAP, REST, File/(S)FTP, etc.) instead?

Hi Evgeniy,
Thanks for your prompt response. Currently 3rd party system is using the Jco tool to connect SAP system directly.
Now customer wants to use the PO middle ware for all the interfaces and 3rd party team also not willing to change the Jco. So I am looking for a feasibility to connect PO with 3rd party's Jco via RFC.
Thanks and Regards
Boopathi
