How do I add attendees to a report?

I have a report for visits and for appointments that I would like to add attendees to. Unfortunately, I do not see this as an available field nor can I find a data source with the field. Has anyone had this same issue?

Hi Larry,

As i am facing a challenged you faced before i wonder how you handled the counters?

Combining the data sources into a join and creating a report goes well, but the counters do not work as expected.

I would like to count on the number of activities (number of appointments and visits) and i would like to count on the total number of attendees?

Ho did you handle this?

Hi Larry,

I did make a join but i only see one (of the many) attendees in my report. How did you tackle that.

Hi Larry,

There are Activity Data Sources "XX Involved Parties" split by Activity Type. Search for "Activity Task Involved Parties" or "Appointment Involved Parties" for example.

Would this require that I create a new combined data source and completely recreate my existing reports?

Hi Larry,

It's a little difficult to answer that question without knowing the specifics of your data source(s). With Activities specifically, it's further complicated by the fact that you could be reporting either from the individual data sources (ex: Activity Task) or an already combined data source (ex: All Activities).

In my opinion, the most likely approach is to inner join each "individual activity type" to its involved parties (ex: tasks --> parties, appointments --> parties, etc.) and then combine the results.

Best Regards,

Brian

Hi Larry,

The required data source as per your description is the "Appointment Involved Parties".
Here you need to add few fields to reflect the correct data in it.

Appointment Involved Parties data source can be used to get this information. However, this is for appointment involved parties which can also be used get visit involved parties.

You can use the visit id in the "Activity Appointment" filter and that will return the count of the involved parties for the appointments/visits.

From here you can use the Party Role filter to filter out attendees.

Hope this will resolve the issue.

Marie-José Veerhuis I was unable to comment directly on your comments.

I have had the opposite problem where I am returning more involved parties than I would like. I will have to filter some out. Perhaps share a screenshot and I can compare to the results I am getting.

Hi,

I also filtered some out based on party role, so that the organizer, person responsible is no longer shown.

Hi Larry,

I have the same Problem. The C4C Object "Visit" only have 1 data source (Visit Header) instead of 2 (Visit Header & Visit Item). The Problem mentioned above occurs because the field attendee is not in the data source Visit Header and should logically be in the data source Visit Item.

I don't see which Joint Operation can help here!

Tkx & regards

Herve',

I have been able to get the desired results with an inner join of the 'Visit Header' and 'Appointment Involved Parties' data sources.

I hope this helps!
