query problem

Hi,

I want to make change for query program, where should I make, in query or in program? if I change in program, it will ask package.

You should do it in the query, the program will be re-generated.

query is created in production system, or it should be transported from development system. why I couldn't find the same query in development system?

Kitty,

Usually queries are created by power users and is done on the production system. Unless there is a complex query need to be developed by the developer, usually these are done in the production system. Of course, these processes change from customer to customer.

Hi Kitty,

You can create queries in the tcode SQ01.

Yes you can use SQ01. Enter your query name and Edit.

In the Menu toolbar of SQ01, Go to Environment->User Groups and assign your userid to the user group
