Scheduling Adapter-moving file to other directory

Hi All,

I need to execute following scenario.

1)Files are placed in FTP server at a particular time.

2)Adaper should be configured to pole that directory in particular hours only (EX: night 10 pm to 12 pm)

3)If polling process doesn't find any file in ftp at that time , I need to send an e-mail to the concerned people.

4)If I found file , i should process the file and move the file to some other directory.

Clarfying above doubts could be very useful for me to move forward.

Hi Venu,

ASFAIK, there is still no way to schedule your Adapters in XI.

But, you can <a href="/people/siva.maranani/blog/2005/05/22/schedule-your-bpm">Schedule your BPM</a>, so that it can search for the file during the time you want, and if not available send the email.

I would recommend not to use BPM for this.

Use this approach instead.
