FB03 - Error when uploading document

Hi All

Hope someone can help solve this mystery.

We use SAP content server, but lately I have seen this error when uploading a PDF file in TC FB03

System error when accessing Knowledge Provider

Message no. SO444

Now to the thing that puzzles me.

If I log into the client, go to FB03 and upload a document it works fine. The error happens when I try to upload a second document.

I keep getting the same error, until I sign out of SAP and back in, then I can upload 1 document again.

If I run RSCMST I get green lights for - “HTTP interface test using function group SCMS_HTTP” the first time I run the test, but if I run it a second time I get this error – “check_subrc: connection closed (no data)”

I tried the same in our test systems, and no errors at all, it just works,, but I can’t find any difference in the configuration.

I have checked firewalls on both servers, no difference.

Any idea on what could be wrong ?

Solved - For som reason the RFC connection SAPHTTP as set to "unicode" . Changing it to "non unicode solved the problem
