Distribution Key - split quantity based on daily capacity

Hello PP Gurus,

Is there a way to create new Distribution key which split the quantity base on daily capacity according to the routing/work center?
Imagine the following scenario: I have a production order of 100.000 PC. My daily capacity is to produce 40.000 PC
So based on the scheduling calculation it would take 3 days to fulfill my order.

Using the GLEI distribution key the system is basically dividing 100.000 by 3 and splitting on MD04, as you see on sample below:

16.04.2019 PrdOrd 000100001503/ZP01/Re Qty: 33.334
17.04.2019 PrdOrd 000100001503/ZP01/Re Qty: 33.333
18.04.2019 PrdOrd 000100001503/ZP01/Re Qty: 33.333

The idea would be to have the quantity split based on the daily capacity, as result we would have:

Day 1: 40.000
Day 2: 40.000
Day 3: 20.000

Is there a way to achieve that? May be different method rather than Distribution Key?

Hello,

Distribution key only be used to divide the quantity of the order. Incase , if you want to consider the capacity as , then pls use "capacity planning and capacity leveling" process available in the Std.SAP.

While running a MRP, please consider "lead time scheduling and capacity planning".
