Customer field is blank in Planned Orders created with respect to Sales Order in MTO Scenario

Hi All,

We are using MTO scenario and version S/4 HANA 1809. After MRP run, Planned Orders are created for Sales Order. When i check in the Planned Order under Assignment tab, Sales Order is visible, but Customer name is blank. Could you please let me know how can to make this field show the Customer name of the Sales Order.

Hi Brahmankar,

Yes Planned Order is not supporting it. I would like to know if Planned Order doesn't support, then why there is a Customer field in Assignment tab of Planned Order.

Thanks for your reply and sorry for replying you late.

We are in MTO scenario. When i convert planned order to Production order, yes all the details like Sales Order number, BP number and its name will be there.

So it meas planned order does not support it. You will get all these details in prodution orders only.

What happen when you convert planned order to production order?

Does it have Sales Order, Ordering Pty and Name?

In ECC does not have the customer name in planned order only SO assignment, however when you convert to production order it does have it.
