Hello Experts,

We are unable to open the ESR & ID using the OpenJDK software, we have tried to open the JNLP files using the javaw file (present in OpenJDK), but with no luck.

Could you please help us with your valuable inputs on how to resolve this issue?

Regards,

Sayantika Datta

Hello Sayantika,

What error are you getting ? you can try re-initializing the signature in Administration. This will add the new signature to the Jars.

You should use javaws.exe to launch the jnlp files. This executable is responsible to open the jnlp files.

Thanks

Thanks Sugata for your input, we are not getting any error as such, yes I understand we should use the java webstart to launch the JNLP files but javaws isn't present in the OpenJDK zip.

Hi Sayantika,

You can also try adding your PI server:port url to the java control panel security setting tab as a allowed sites.

Thanks
