Netweaver 7.5 install on Oracle RAC

Looking to install SAP with Oracle RAC and was thinking it should be a distributed ERP 7.5 install starting with oracle client and ASCS, the oracle RAC is an existing install on a separate set of servers. I Was expecting to see an option in ASCS install for oracle rac but this has not happened. Have continued with primary application server but also no option for oracle RAC.

Can anyone advise where the option is for oracle rac?

Do I need to install the SAP database software aswell?

While running the sapinst to install ASCS there won't be any DB parameters set. The DB hostname, schema, listener and sapdata configuration screens come are set during DB node installation. Yes you need to install Oracle database software on the database host. If the database software is not done then sapinst will stop before the ABAP import and will prompt you to run the installation before you can continue.
