    Hi,

    The material transfer from one plant to another plant within the same company code material price would be same and SAP recommended to not update during transfer.

    An answer to your question it is possible to update price with condition records price update. Material price valuated during goods receipt of receiving plant from material master.

    Hi Russel,
    As per my understanding, we can't directly increase or decrease the price during STO/stock transfer.
    Price fluctuation depends up on the system behavior. Please check below points for better understanding.

    If the receiving plant material is maintained with price control indicator 'S', then there is no chance of change in price.
    If the price control indicator is 'V', then the price of receiving plant material depends on Supplying plant material price.
    If the supplying plant material price is more than receiving plant, then price gets increased in receiving plant. If supplying plant price is less than the receiving plant, then price gets decreased as per the moving average price calculation.

    • Hi Vjay,

      In receiving plant we are maintaining price control indicator 'V' and supplying plant maintaining price control indicator 'S'. So. our plan is below journal

      Receiving Plant -> Inventory 120

      Supplying Plant -> Inventory 100 Cr.

      Adjustment -> GL- Inventory valuation 20 Cr (Receiving Plant) (P/L item)

      Is it possible through STO process ?

    Hi Russel,
    As explained in my previous comment, the price valuation is standard behavior while moving from one plant to another plant.
    If supplying plant price is 100 and receiving plant managed with price control 'V' with no stock, then 100 only reflects to receiving plant.
    to get 120 value in receiving plant, Put price control as 'S' and maintain per unit price with reference to 120 Cr value(if 100 qty is of 120 Cr, then put 1.2 Cr as per unit price) and go for stock transfer. then the difference 20 goes to price difference account.
