WM Storage Location Control - no auto IM posting

Hi All,

I'm using WM Storage Location Control for the scenario where goods receipts are first posted to an interim sloc, before being posted to the finished goods sloc upon TO confirmation.

I have the issue where the IM posting isn't happening automatically.

I've read a few similar posts but nothing helped.

I know my config is correct because the quants have the correct sloc.......and when I process the posting manually via LQ01 everything is tidied up nicely.

It just feels like there is a flag or something missing somewhere.......but thus far I can't find it. The IM posting is simply not being triggered.

Anyone had the same issue?

Is there any obscure config anywhere to consider?

I'm also trying to debug it so if anyone knows the FM or the point at which the posting is initiated during TO confirmation, that would also be helpful.

Appreciate any hints / tips.

Thanks

Guy

The LQ01 settings do not the same as the Automatic postings in Storage Location Control. Please see the IMG activity documentation associated with Logistics Execution -> Warehouse Management -> Interfaces -> Inventory Management -> Define Storage Location Control

Of note:

  • General notes on posting changes: The time of the posting change is determined by the indicator "Cumulate posting change" in Customizing. If this indicator is set, the posting change is created by the program RLLQ0100, which can be planned as a background job or executed manually using Transaction LQ01 . If this indicator is not set, the posting change takes place in the background immediately after the transfer order has been confirmed. If you have set transfer orders with immediate confirmation, the posting change takes place immediately after the transfer order has been created.

If everything else is set right, do you have RLLQ0100 running in the background?
