WebI on the BI Launch Pad brings up a blank page

Hello, world! I have an odd issue where everything was working (I am on BI 4.2 SP6 on RHEL7) fine. I had to reset the Linux box and the CMC and the Launchpad and other applications on the Launchpad come up fine, but when clicking on WebI it just returns with a blank page, and it says "Loading..." on the tab. Anyone have any pointers on what logs I should be looking at or if there's an easy fix for this? Thanks!

Update, I clicked around and for some reason if I open up one of the sample reports first and then click the "New" button, it works. But If I still try to go directly to WebI, it still is blank as above.

Can you try changing the preference for Webi, see if the browser picks up the changes? Change it back to HTML afterwards.

Which preferences are you referring to?

Look at the top right hand corner of BI Launchpad, you will see an option for "Preference"

Oh, somehow the radio marker changed to applet. Changing it back to HTML as you indicated did the trick. Thanks for the help!
