Hello community,

in the campaigns App of the SAP Marketing System there are easy ways to change the list/ view.

If i set a filter i can safe it as a new view und set it as standard. But if i have set a new view as the standard view, this change is only valid for me. Also, i am not able to safe changes to the standard view. Is there any way for an administrator to change the standard view of the campaigns list so that this view changes for anybody that uses the system?

Kind regards,

Robert

Hi Tim,

Thank you for your helpful answer. I understand the issue but is there any possibility for an admin to change the standard view from SAP default to a customized default for all users?

Is there something like a specific right that an admin needs to do this task?

The documentation from your answer does unfortunately not contain that information.

Kind regards,

Robert

Hi Robert,

In theory you could debug and possibly enhance the backend code which returns the standard views / variants. From a pure technical perspective an admin could influence this, but I don't recommend it.

Even "small" changes to the SAP standard are a risk, need to be tested thoroughly and still might influence or even break other parts of the application.

Hi Robert,

with SAP Marketing 1809 the standard Fiori Variant Management is used.

The pre-shipped standard views are unfortunately not changeable: "The standard view is the minimum set of filters delivered by SAP, and cannot be modified or deleted."

Hope this helps!
