SAP Frontend Theme issue

Hello, after logging into our SAP frontend using the logon pad, all I see is black squares where the GUI should be. I believe it is related to the theme.xml file because every time I launch the logon pad and then click "Log On", I'm prompted with a message that says:

"The system is trying to access the file

C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP\FrontEnd\SAPgui\themes\enjoy\theme.xml

Do you wan't to grant access to this file?"

And my options are: Allow this one time, Always allow, Always allow for this file type, Deny this one time, Always deny and Always deny for this file type"

So I select "Always allow", then select the system on the logon pad. Once I click "Log On", this is what I see:

    Hi Justin,

please check SAP Note 622135 for your problem.
If this is not helpful then please let us know if there is a Terminal Server involved.

    • Andreas, I'm not quite sure how to check an SAP Note. Is that some sort of documentation built into the software itself, or a section on SAP's support site? I'm having trouble finding anything.

    Hi Justin,
a SAP Note is kind of a documentation. Most of them contain a correction instruction to fix a bug in the system. This happens while applying the Note using transaction SNOTE. Some of them contain only information regarding problems. Furthermore there are also KBA (Knowledge Base Articles) which provide more information on various topics. Please check https://support.sap.com/en/my-support/knowledge-base.html for more information.

You can enter the SAP Note 622135 via the SAP Launchpad. I linked it for you for an easier access. Please ensure you have your S-User in place.

    Cheers,
    Andreas

    • Andreas, unfortunately I was tasked with fixing this issue but I have no idea who within my organization has an S-User nor do I do who the plan administrator is. What are contents of Note 622135?

    Good morning Justin,

I will not paste the content of the Note in this community.
Please ask your basis guys to provide the content of the Note. They definitely have an S-User.

    Best regards,
    Andreas
