We have SAP ME 15.1 setup. In our setup we have only WIP and ODS database and no GODS db.
Over a period of time , a huge amount of data is accumulated in the ODS_* tables of the ODS database. This is causing performance issues in the reporting end and we are looking for the option on how this can be optimized.
I know we have the standard ODS aging scripts which deletes the data from ODS db. As we have never used them before , I wanted to seek some guidance on below points.
1) Is it recommended to run the ODS aging, in a setup where you dont have GODS db?
2) Is there any documentation, which provides the list of tables from which the data will get deleted when we run the ODS aging scripts( similar to what we have for the ETL scripts)
3) Will this impact the archiving functionality? after running the ODS aging we still want to be able to unarchive the sfc and see its details in the SAP ME reports/screens.
