System cannot find storage bin message no /SCWM/L3008

Hi,

I have done movement 311 (goods issue to scrap ) for one material and Warehouse Request and Warehouse Tasks were created .

I executed following steps:

1. Migo Mvnt type 311 -> Transfer post from HU-Managed (EWM) to non-HU (IM) SLoc

Outbound delivery is created.

2. Open EWM Monitor > go to maintain outbnound delivery (SCWM/prdi)

3. Open Warehouse Task > wanted to confirm and save

Warehouse Task cannot be confirmed because of the error message

System could not determine source storage bin Message No. /SCWM/L3008

In diagnosis following is given.

1. The material no longer exists in your warehouse. > it exists

2. The material is in your warehouse, but currently cannot be reached by the system (for example, the material is just being transferred by one of the conveyor machines). > no

3. The material is in your warehouse, but not in the storage type and storage areas that are defined in your system for the material search.

Seems to be due to 3rd reason.

I have checked the material master in /SCWM/MAT1 in tab Whse Data

for Putaway following is maintained:

Putaway Control ind. : Putaway Quality Inspection

For Stock Removal: nothing is maintained

In Tab St. type Data

I have add the Outbound Staging Area.

Can you please help to resolve the issue?

Hi Merve,

When you do the stock transfer from EWM to IM location, the outbound delivery should be created. As you mentioned in 2nd point there is a small correction the transaction code is /SCWM/PRDO (OBD) not /SCWM/PRDI.

You need to maintain a stock removal indicator in product master, also check the storage type search sequence and Optimization of Access Strategies for Stor. Type Determination in Stck Rmvl it was maintained or not.

thanks for your reply.

We did not set up the outbound process. I solved the issue via using /scwm/adgi . I could post the HU to an IM Sloc which is nonHU managed.

But when I want to transfer HUs from EWM to IM HUmanaged Slocs it won't work. Do you have a recommendation how I could set this up?
