B1 Integration Framework multiple instances to one SAP Business One.

Dear Experts

I am not sure if having multiple B1IF all pointing to the same SAP B1 is possible.

Maybe it is possible pointing to different companies in the same SAP B1. I have not found something that explicitly says it is forbidden or allowed. It might be allowed with some condition or restrictions.

I am about to try but any feedback will be welcome.

Best Regards.

Héctor.

Hector,

If you are primarily using the Event Sender, you can specify multiple SBO companies per scenario.

We do not use the Event Sender as much as others do. We do use DI Proxy Groups with multiple DI Proxy's. In some cases we use multiple B1i servers, but share the same SLD definitions on each server. Each of the B1i servers would then have it's own B1i schema/database.

Let's consider the following landscape:

DBServer - Contains company and B1i DB's

B1iServer1 - Uses B1i database named B1iServer1

B1iServer2 - Uses B1i database named B1iServer2

In other words, we always name the B1i database the same as the name of the server.

Since B1iServer1 and B1iServer2 share the same SBOCOMMON, the SLD's for the SBO companies and on both B1i servers should match.

I hope this helps.

How does this work with the common SEVT table ? do both b1ifs actually receive the events correctly?

Hello Tom,

Thanks for the answer, share your experience and sorry for my late recognition.

I am going to test using a couple of VM and see how it work.

Best Regards.

Héctor.
