After solution manager 7.2 FPS08 installation not showing support pack level in system->status?

Hi Solman Experts,

is it necessary to upgrade system after solution manager 7.2 installation.?

I have just installed the solution manager 7.2 (Abap and Java) but in system status i could not see patch level there only can see as "Installed product version : Sap solution manager 7.2 "

Is this like we have to again upgrade system to respective patch level. at the time of xml downloading from maintenance planner i have selected solution manager 7.2 with FPS08 and generated 2 xml file there as for abap and java. but not seeing there FPS08. only can see as "Installed product version : Sap solution manager 7.2 "

Please share your knowledge on this.

Actually after installation of SOLMAN 7.2 , i have missed out upgrade. so i have upgraded to fps08 through SUM..

previously it's showing version solution manager 7.2 no support package,

now it's showing correctly with FPS08.

Hi Nilesh,

to view the installed FPS you need to proceed as follows:

Open SAP Gui

From the menu: Select "System" - "Status" - Area "SAP System Data". Click on details (Box below "see details". Installed Software Components.

Component "ST" should be on Release 720. SP-level 0008
