SAP Dashboard 4.2 SP06 Post Installation Flashplayer Issue.

Hello,

I am having an issue after installation of SAP Dashboard 4.2 SP06 on my local system. All the prerequisite were meet before the installation and the installation went smoothly without any error. However when I am trying to run the client tool after installation It gives me the below error:

"Flash Player version 9 or above is required. Please download the latest flash player for Windows Internet Explorer from www.abobe.com and install it".

I have checked and the flash player is properly installed on my system for all type of browsers. i.e Google Chrome and Internet Explorer.

I have tried installing it twice once on an existing system while upgrading SAP Dashboard from 4.2sp3 to 4.2sp6 patch 4 and once installing a fresh SAP Dashboard 4.2 sp6 on a fresh windows but I have come across the same issue both times. However I am able to install and run other 4.2sp6 client tools i.e WEBI, IDT on the same system.

My System Configuration:

Windows 10 pro (x64 bit) version 1809 OS build 17763.379

MS Office 2016 Professional Plus (x64 bit).

I have tried searching for a solution but I am unable to find any. Will appreciate if any one can support me in resolving this issue.

Thank you for your response Pablo I had tried it with patch 600 as well and I was having the same issue.

It Turned out there is a compatibility issue of 4.2 SP6 with Windows version 'Windows 10 pro (x64 bit) version 1809 OS build 17763.379'. So I had to downgrade my windows to 'Windows 10 pro (x64 bit) version 1709' and it is working fine now.

Check Patch 500 or 600 for xcelsius.

(SBOPDASH4206P_500-70000183 or SBOPDASH4206P_600-70000183)

It corrects the flash problem. But, I´m having problems to install it.
