BW Reports migration to S4 Embedded BW

Hello Gurus,

One of our customer is planning to buy a S4 box and want to use Embedded BI capabilities instead of tradition BW system . In order all the existing BW reports needs to be redeveloped or migrated to S4 system .

Considering go ahead to develop analytical reports in S4 operational system.

So do anybody have any suggested method to do this. Since traditional BW system is based on extractors[custom + standard] and model on info objects and build Bex query and report on BO.

But when we try to evolve the same reports in S4 we need to go either completely build on CDS views or
redevelop or migrate the objects from BW system to S4 system by transport or files.

So if anybody can throw some light on this topic, it would be great.

I am also having the same issue...

Could you please guide me how to resolve this kind of requirement. As we are trying to migrate from existing ECC system to S/4. So want to replicate existing BI reports into S/4 system.

Since you also having the same kind of requirement so your inputs would definitely help for us.

For your information, with us we have inputs regarding( Info-providers, Infocubes and Extract Program information from ECC system)... will it useful to implement the reports in S/4.

• CDS view with annotation @Analytics.query: true, or
• Build BEx query on top of CDS-based cubes
