PowerBuilder with Crystal Report Viewer does not fire events

My PowerBuilder app using CrystalReportViewer and does everyting i need except for the events that are not working.

for example there is event downloadfinished or another one firstpagebuttonclicked but if i put a MessageBox in those function then no messagebox appears at runtime. That means those events are not firing. In fact none of the events listed in the ole control is firing. What is missing and how to get those events working. Please help.
