I have a customer demand to create a way for our sales people to "accept" last weeks transactions.
And the way I see the IP solution working in Lumira today is that I can show a crosstab with a DS and they can fill out fields in this - so I can use a boolean function, so they type in 1 for accept or 0 for decline.
But I would like to make it a bit more nice than that, so instead of them filling out this crosstab, I'd like to just give them a button to press for accept. And then in the scripting I want to fill out the values with 1 and save the data after.. So the end user won't even see this crosstab in the dashboard at all. But as far as I can see, there's no way for me to fill out fields in a data source by scripting?
Any solutions to this?
What you would like to have is the script API DS_1.setDataAsString() that puts a string into the planning buffer. Unfortunately this API was never productized. However in coming SAP Application Design you will find such an API.
