SAP Portal Login - Prompting Local Browser Certificate at Login

Hi Experts,

I have a typical scenario in my SAP NW 7.50 SPS 13 irj Portal , when i login in Browser Chrome it prompts for my Local Chrome Personal Certificate to Login ,

Here 2 scenario is happening

1. If i select Ok-->>> Then it shows Backend System Login Screen of ABAP.

2. If i select Cancel -->>> Then it is showing the content normaly.

How can i stop it from happening from SAP irj portal side.

In IE it is not even prompting , directly it is sending client certificate to login and fails .

Here we are using HTTPS to login , signed by Authority .

Hi Kumar,

that is a pain of every fresh installed SAP AS JAVA, ABAP system or SAP Web Dispatcher. This is simply caused by the impractical default value 1 of ICM parameter icm/HTTPS/verify_client

Just set ICM profile parameter icm/HTTPS/verify_client = 0.

Thanks for the valuable comment, just to here it was not an Fresh installation , The Portal system has its backend UME as ABAP.

Just that we configured HTTPS with signed authority , after this we are facing peculiar situation.

So by setting this , can we stop the client browser certificate from getting prompted or not verfiying logon with that .

Can you set the Logon credentials for the Portal in TA: SICF?

This solution does not wok for me. Even the VCLIENT=0 in my HTTPS seeting
