Hi,

I am trying to install the netweaver but I got this error:

ERROR 2006-03-17 17:23:03

MOS-01228 User 'yisbcn01\SAPServiceBW3' is not registered from the operating system. The UID cannot be retrieved.

ERROR 2006-03-17 17:23:03

MOS-01224 Unable to add privileges 'SeServiceLogonRight SeNetworkLogonRight SeDenyInteractiveLogonRight' to account 'yisbcn01\SAPServiceBW3' on host 'yisbcn01'.

Can anyone help me please? 🐵

Hi Laura,

There are certain operating system privileges that the SAPService user needs to have to operate (e.g. replace a process level token, Act as a part of the operating system, Adjust memory quotas for a process). These are most likely being denied by Group Policies on your Windows machine. You will need to move your machine into a different OU in Active Directory which prevents Group Policies from being applied, or manually log on as Administrator and add the rights to the user. (Start>Programs>Admin>LocalSecuritySettings then LocalPolicies>UserRightsAssignment).

Hope this helps,

Jonathan

What do you mean about different OU?

I tried again the installation after making the changes in the userRightsAssigments and now I have this error:

ERROR 2006-03-20 10:14:44

FSL-01006 Unable to add account yisbcn01\bw3adm to group yisbcn01\SAP_BW3_GlobalAdmin. The specified account name is already a member of the local group.

Hi Laura,

OU means the container within the Active Directory structure of your organisation. Generally there will be different OUs for different types of machines, and different policies will be applied to those different OUs. For instance, you might have a Server OU and a Workstation OU with different policies. You need to place your Netweaver server into a container that clears out any group policies that will inhibit you changing the user permissions.

Re the error on adding the account to the local group, you might need to remove the user from the group and restart the installation.

Cheers,

Jonathan

1.check the user right

2.create the user SAPServiceSID and give the local admin right.

3. Installed with Domain admin if system in domain if in workgroup with local admin
